1. Who We Are

NeoRishi ("we", "us", "our") is a holistic wellness platform operated by NeoRishi Technologies. We blend Vedic wisdom with modern science to support your personal growth journey. Our registered contact email is hello@neorishi.io.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data.

2. Data We Collect

Account information — When you sign up, we collect your full name, email address, WhatsApp number (optional), and a hashed password. If you sign up with Google OAuth, we receive your name and email from Google.

Onboarding answers — We collect your responses to 8 onboarding questions covering your life focus areas, wellness goals, and lifestyle context. These responses inform your personalised experience.

Assessment responses — If you take the Life Compass assessment (20 questions) or the BioRhythm Profile (Prakriti, Vikriti, Guna), we store your individual answers and the derived scores. These are used to generate your GAP Framework analysis and personalised recommendations.

Platform usage data — Goals, tasks, habits, journal entries, Sankalpas, and daily routine completions you create within the app are stored to power your dashboard and AI reports.

Payment data — If you subscribe, payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details. We receive a transaction ID, amount, and subscription status from Razorpay.

Device and usage analytics — We may collect anonymised information about how you use the platform (pages visited, feature usage frequency) to improve the product. No third-party advertising analytics are used.

3. How We Use Your Data

→Provide, operate, and personalise the NeoRishi platform and your wellness journey.

→Generate your Life Compass score, GAP Framework analysis, BioRhythm Profile, and AI wellness reports.

→Send you WhatsApp messages via AiSensy (daily Sankalpa reminders, report delivery) — only if you provided your WhatsApp number and have not opted out.

→Process subscription payments via Razorpay and manage your subscription tier.

→Send you transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, receipts).

→Improve platform features and fix bugs using aggregated, anonymised usage data.

→Comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Storage & Security

All user data is stored in Supabase, which uses PostgreSQL databases hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified.

Assessment responses and personal wellness data are stored in your private user account and are not accessible to other users. Access is controlled by row-level security policies enforced at the database level.

Our servers and automation pipelines run on Hostinger VPS (EU region). AI report generation uses the Anthropic Claude API — your data is sent to Anthropic solely for the purpose of generating your report and is not used to train their models.

5. Third-Party Services

We share your data with the following third parties only to the extent necessary:

→Razorpay — Payment processing. Receives your name, email, and payment details to process subscriptions. Governed by the Razorpay Privacy Policy.

→AiSensy — WhatsApp Business API provider. Receives your WhatsApp number and message content to deliver notifications and reports. Only used if you provided your WhatsApp number.

→VedicAstroAPI — Vedic calendar and Panchang data provider. We send your location (if provided) to retrieve accurate sunrise/sunset times and Panchang information. No personal identity data is shared.

→Anthropic (Claude API) — AI report generation. Receives anonymised wellness data to generate your personal reports. Anthropic does not use this data for model training.

→Google — If you use Google OAuth to sign in. We receive your name and email only.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

NeoRishi uses browser localStorage (not third-party cookies) to:

→Remember your theme preference (dark / light mode).

→Temporarily store onboarding and assessment answers before you create an account.

→Cache today's routine completion state locally for performance.

Supabase authentication uses a secure session cookie. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance (e.g., payment transaction records retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law).

Assessment results and wellness logs are retained to maintain continuity of your personal journey. You may request deletion of specific data at any time (see Your Rights below).

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights over your personal data. To exercise any of them, email us at hello@neorishi.io:

→Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.

→Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data (you can also update most data directly in Settings).

→Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated personal data ("right to be forgotten").

→Export — Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV).

→Opt-out of WhatsApp — Reply "STOP" to any NeoRishi WhatsApp message, or update your preference in Settings.

We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

NeoRishi is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at hello@neorishi.io and we will delete the account.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and display a notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of NeoRishi after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
